Esbats are a time for Moon Magic, these are considered the best times to perform magic; performed on the night of the full moons.  Rites held for the purpose of communing with the Moon's energies are considered the best time for most magical workings.  Called "working celebrations" these are the times to perform rituals to attract, banish, invoke, protect, or to perform any other magical workings.
