FORGIVENESS

Forgiving is a very important part of being the love that you are. Forgiveness is an act of kindness which leads to compassion. Forgiveness must come straight from the heart, otherwise it is a word that is said with no true intent or meaning. To forgive takes great courage and strength for it goes against everything that we have been taught. We have always been taught to "get even" or "fight back".

How is it that giving and receiving forgiveness is so important? How can I explain this in simple terms that people will understand? These are two questions that I had. Through the use of one of my psychic abilities, Automatic Handwriting, I asked Jesus to help me. Here is what Jesus wrote:
"Forgiveness is giving love to the fullest. It is the greatest gift one can give or receive. To give forgiveness releases them from judgement. To receive releases you from judgement".
I thanked Jesus for this wonderful explanation, told him I loved him, and I told him that now I can explain to others the importance of forgiveness.

First of all to understand forgiveness you must understand judgement. The only individual that judges you is you. Mother and Father God do not judge us for they only have love and compassion for us. Others will try to judge you here on earth but that only does harm to their soul, it has no effect on your soul. You are the only one who determines whether you learned a lesson or not. To forgive someone for doing something that you believe to be an injustice to you releases them from judgement. In other words, they will not have to judge themselves for this injustice. Judgement brings about all of the negative emotions such as fear, guilt, jealousy, and competition. It is these negative emotions that damages the soul. The person who receives this forgiveness from you releases themselves from judgement and all of the negative emotions that can damage their soul.

I understand why Jesus said "Forgiveness is giving love to its fullest. It is the greatest gift one can give or receive." I also see the importance of not only forgiving others but also forgiving yourself. Forgiving yourself releases you from all of your past and present judgements about yourself. It helps to bring about your reawakening and aids tremendously in your spiritual growth. It is truly loving yourself. I believe you can truly love and have compassion for others only when you can truly love and have compassion for yourself. I also believe that when we know that everything is within us and we take the responsibility for our thoughts and actions will these things manifest to us externally. Brenda and I personally have chosen to live our eternal life in the image of Mother and Father God. Having love and compassion for ourselves and love and compassion for all living things.

Forgiveness is an act that should be practiced daily. By practicing forgiveness daily you give your soul command of your heart and mind. No longer will your mind tell you that you have to "get even" or "fight back." Here is a forgiveness prayer that I have been guided to write, you can use this prayer and modify it to fit your needs.

Prayer of Forgiveness

Dear Mother God, Father God, and the Holy Spirit:

I forgive myself for any pain and suffering that I have brought upon myself through my past and present judgements of myself. I will love and have compassion for myself and I will be the love that I am.

I am praying for those who have caused, and those who will cause me great pain and suffering. As a being of love it is my will to forgive those souls. I understand that their actions that caused this pain and suffering came from their false ego and not their soul, as their souls know the love they truly are.

From my heart and my soul I send my love and forgiveness to these people in the hope that they will receive this love and forgiveness and understand the person that I truly am. I pray for these people to feel this love and forgiveness within their heart and soul because I know that when this happens they will know me for the Love that I am.

Please have mercy for those who judge me, fear me, and are jealous of me. Have mercy upon those who are close to me and have betrayed me or will betray me for they have forgotten the beautiful and loving person that I am. From my heart and my soul I forgive these people who have betrayed me or will betray me for I understand that they are still searching for the Truth.

Mother God, Father God, and the Holy Spirit give me the knowledge and wisdom to be the Love that I am and to forgive and have mercy for those who have caused me pain and suffering. It is my will to forgive and have mercy for these people for I know in my heart and my soul that this is your will also.

It is my will to live my life here on earth as the Love that I am, to obey the Universal Laws and Laws of Nature, to help and love people, and to help all people find the Love that you have for them.

I love you, I love myself, and I love and respect all living things.

AMEN

Repeating this prayer daily will bring about many wonderful changes in your life.
