HOW TO MEET YOUR SPIRIT GUIDES

Everyone chooses guides to be their Spirit Guides before they incarnate into the earth plane. Many times these are guides that have been with you in previous lives. These Spirit Guides are there to guide, protect, and teach you. Brenda and I believe that there are a minimum of four guides working with you all of the time. These four are as follow:

1. Protector Guide
2. Joy Guide
3. Chemist or Doctor Guide
4. Teacher Guide

The main job of these guides is to keep you on track so that you can complete your Life Plan. These guides have been with you all of your life and believe me they want to communicate with you. This will not happen until you open yourself up to them. Your guides love you very much and they will do anything within their power to help you and protect you. Meeting, getting to know, and learning to trust your guides is the next step that you must take on this spiritual journey. 

HOW TO MEET YOUR SPIRIT GUIDES

When you are in your meditation, after your conscious and subconscious minds are quiet, imagine yourself going to a favorite place that you like to be. For instance my favorite spot is out in the woods and this is where I go. Where you go is not really as important as being able to vision this place with your third eye. Your third eye is located in the middle of your forehead and with your eyes closed you should be able to vision things through your third eye.   Once you can imagine that you are in your favorite place, imagine that you are standing or sitting inside a circle. Look off to the distance and you can see a light coming towards your circle. As the light gets closer it gets bigger and brighter. When the light reaches the outer edges of the circle it will stop as it will not come into this circle unless you invite it in. So you must invite this spirit into your circle.

Once the spirit is inside your circle ask it to come closer to you so you can see it better and try to sense the vibration that you are receiving from this spirit. If this spirit doesn't feel right to you, ask it to leave and it will. If the spirit feels right to you ask it some questions. You can ask it to give it's name, you can ask it to show itself to you, and if you are sitting you can ask it to sit with you. Ask it if it is one of your spirit guides and if it answers yes ask it which one it is. Also, if this is one of your spirit guides, you can ask it if it has a message for you. always remember to let your guide have a chance to answer your questions after you ask them. Ask them any other questions that you feel you should ask them.

When you feel that you are done ask them to come visit you again, tell them that you love them and thank them for coming to visit with you. After you open your eyes from your meditation get a piece of paper or a notepad and write everything down that you can remember from this visit. It is very important to document these visits because later on you will see that messages that you were given have come true.

After you have met your first spirit guide you can ask he/she to bring one of your other guides with him/her the next time you visit with them. Remember your guides really want to communicate with you and they want you to know how much of a part of your life they are. They will bring you great love, knowledge, and protection. You will know that they are with you all of the time.

The first time, you may have some problems communicating with spirit as they must learn to communicate with you also. Until you learn to let you soul control your heart and your mind, you may find yourself doubting that this is real and that you are just imagining all of this. Brenda and I both went through periods where we felt this way but we were always given validation either from our guides or from someone who has developed their psychic abilities enough to give us messages from our guides. We are blessed because we have a spiritualist camp only a few miles from our home that we go to every chance that we get. We feel that it is very important that you have someone that you can relate these experiences to.

Ted Andrews has written some very good books that are inexpensive that can help you with your meditation and meeting your spirit guides. I am sure that my way is not the only way to meet your guides but I do know that this has worked for Brenda and I. The most important thing to know is you must want it to happen and ask for it to happen. Believe me when I tell you that you will find a tremendous amount of love is there just waiting for you to open up and receive it.
