LEARNING TO TRUST

This is a very important step that you must take and maybe one of the hardest. There are two areas of trust involved here. Learning to trust your abilities and learning to trust spirit. Trust and faith are two words that people on this earth plane have a very difficult time dealing with because of our learned experiences over the years and all of the negativity on this planet. We have learned over the years to trust our five senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing. There is another sense that we need to learn to trust and that is our sixth sense which is intuition. This is the first area that will be discussed.

Our Sixth Sense

We must learn to develop this sense just as we have learned to develop our other five senses. This sixth sense is referred to as intuition or psychic ability. Everyone has this ability but very few of us have learned to use it. This psychic ability is a gift given to us by Mother God and Father God in order for us to communicate with them and remember where we came from, why we are here, and the love that they have for each and every one of us. So it is very important to our spiritual growth to develop and learn to use this psychic ability that has been given to us. Just like any other skill in life that you have learned, the more you practice and use this skill the better you get at it.

Brenda and I believe strongly that learning a skill should be fun and something that you truly enjoy doing. Therefore, this is the attitude you should have about developing and using your psychic abilities. Go back to your childhood and remember the childlike qualities that you had then. There are numerous books on the subject of developing your psychic ability, the one that Brenda and I have had great success with is "The Psychic Pathway" by Sonia Choquette. She teaches you in a manner that is fun by showing you how to make a game out of developing your psychic skills.

Back to the subject of learning to trust your sixth sense. At first you will think that the messages you are getting are coming from your own imagination and you will have a great deal of doubt as to their validity. The validation will come in time and this is the main reason for writing down or recording the messages you receive. Also remember that when I mention time that spirit does not work on a 60 seconds to the minute, 60 minutes to the hour, 24 hours to a day, and so on structure of time. So one of the first lessons that you must learn and for most people one of the hardest is PATIENCE. I bet my spirit guides have told me this at least 1000 times. The dreadful "P" word will come up in your messages, mark my words. Validation can also come from psychic readings. If there is a Spiritualist or Metaphysical church near you, go there as part of their services is usually giving messages from the spirit realm. Just know that once you are on track and communicating with your spirit guides that validation will come.

Faith and consciousness are two of the lessons that we are here on Earth to learn. Trust and Faith go hand in hand. What you must learn is to have trust and faith in yourself and trust and faith in your spirit guides. You are entering a new REALITY, which is the TRUE REALITY. Everything that you have been taught and that you have learned will go against this REALITY. This is why you must learn to let your soul control your heart and your mind. Your soul knows the Truth and it knows the true you. Your soul knows all of your past lives on this planet and it knows the Love that you truly are. Your mind only knows what you have been taught and what you have learned during this one life.

Trusting yourself and your spirit guides will speed up your spiritual growth. Your spirit guides love you and they will help you learn your lessons and complete your life plan. All they ask of you is to be open to their guidance and to the love that they have for you. Learn to trust their guidance and the struggles that you go through in this life will have much less of an effect on you physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your lessons will be learned more quickly and you will have more joy and love in your life.

Learning to trust is one of the lessons that you will learn.
